The component parts of a radiator cabinet

Apart from the radiator cabinet carcass and the grille insert panels available from Classic Radiator Cabinets, there are other choices to be had in the make up and look of your radiator cabinet.
One such example is the choice of round or square corners on the top shelf of the radiator cabinet design. Classic Radiator Cabinets find that many people who have young children or elderly relatives living with them choose the rounded corners finish, as obviously they are less sharp, so that in the unfortunate event of a fall or stumble, the impact should not be as serious. However, whether you choose rounded or square corners, these two are much more preferable to having no radiator cabinet at all, which leaves the bare, metal central heating radiator exposed to the potential dangers described.
The painted finish of a radiator cabinet is also another variable. Classic Radiator Cabinets offer two standard colour variations in their range. These are white and cream. These neutral colours tend to be the most popular choices. However, always mindful of people’s individual choices, Classic Radiator Cabinets will always endeavour to supply an alternative colour, provided the customer can supply the reference for the paint, either with a numbered British Standard colour, or at worst, a swatch or sample that we can attempt to match. There is a small supplementary charge for providing this service.
Your radiator cabinets also come with a Reflectflow energy and heat radiation system. This is not an option, but come as standard within the prices we charge. The way the Reflectflow system works is that a metal cowling deflects the heat from the central heating radiator to a foil backing sheet attached to the wall behind the radiator cabinet. This in turn deflects the heat back into the room instead of the heat being absorbed into the wall, which is not terribly energy or cost efficient.

So, in this way, it make good sense to have radiator covers installed, not solely because of their aesthetically attractive appearance in comparison to unsightly central heating radiators.
